  • New Plan – (first four funded projects or four years from date of plan, whichever comes first-sign projects excepted)

  • First neighborhood priority for this funding round

Category 3 – Past Projects/Funding Levels
(can have more than one)
 
  • No project approved for funding in last four funding cycles (sign projects excepted)

  • Less than $250K total N.C. funds approved (actual expenditures since 1988 (when available) plus currently allocated funds)

  • Between $250K and $500K total NC funds approved (actual expenditures since 1988, when available,plus currently allocated funds)

  • Between $500K and $750K total NC funds approved (actual expenditures since 1988, when available, plus currently allocated funds)

Category 4 – Alternate Funding Sources  
  • Has a written commitment for additional funding from an alternate source. That commitment shall be either 5% of the total project cost or a minimum of $1,000.00 whichever is greater.

Category 5 – Timing  
  • Qualified for more than two funding cycles

Category 6 – Phase of Large Project  
  • Follow-on phase of a multi-phased project as defined by a previously funded planning project

Notes:

  1. Signs are not considered "projects". They count only against the "total NC funds" threshold for calculating category three points.
  2. Neighborhoods are encouraged to seek alternate funding sources (e.g. NTCC, Parks & Recreation, Small parks grants, missing link, any other funding sources).
