NCAC
Meeting The good news is that both the Little Falls and Minor Hill project were approved. The bad news is that both projects were cut back significantly. The Neighborhood Conservation Advisory Committee met on 14 June to discuss and vote on the 41 projects which were submitted by participating neighborhoods for funding under the second round of the 2000 Neighborhood Conservation Bond. These 41 projects represented a total cost of $7.7 million. NCAC had about $2 million to spend. Williamsburg submitted two projects:
Ellen Jones presented the WCA projects. Ann Rudd, our NCAC representative also attended the meeting. After the project presentations, a lively discussion ensued on which ones to fund.
NC members voted in favor of a revised Option Three.
